Bold of you to assume Republican state house members won’t get preferential treatment by judges they golf with.
Once I asked IT if they could stop Skype (depreciated) from automatically being pinned to the taskbar upon login. Through a series of events they uninstalled the Microsoft Office Suite and attempts to reinstall it were met with error messages for 3 days. Eventually they reinstalled Office and closed the ticken, but Skype was still getting pinned.
I live in fear of that Skype shortcut.
I bought the company and I will short the stock.

Also it is dynamic. Right now their worldview is completely in flux because they shape their opinions around whatever Trump is doing that week. But its getting legitimately hard for them keep up and Trump is loosing support online and in polls (55 to 23-33%) because of that.
The new initiative gives the Department of Justice authority to appoint VA lawyers as special assistant U.S. attorneys, which allows the lawyers to initiate and participate in state court guardianship or conservatorship proceedings, according to a press release issued Wednesday.
With what staff? all those extra VA staff members and DOJ attorneys that are just lining up for more work?
I could absolutely see this administration using this as a tool to (ineffectively?) punish outspoken non-homeless veterans with “Trump derangement syndrome”. The administration did just try (and fail) to take Mark Kelly’s military retirement pay because of his speech.
The value is learning about how they view the world.
If I understand them, I understand the world better not because they have a deeper understanding, but because they have reality denying viewpoints that 23-45% of my fellow countrymen share.

Anyway here is the Nazi equivalent
On Reddit, I sometimes pop over to the r/conservative subreddit to see their take on issues. Mostly to get a temperature read on how they are feeling about news events. No equivalent to that on Lemmy.

- About 20m barrels of crude go through the strait of Hormuz every day.
The Diego Garcia base in the middle of the Indian ocean.
2000 miles away from Iran. A similar attack with the same distance could reach Germany, but maybe not the UK mainland.
Diego Garcia was rumored to be being used as a forward operating base of the B2s. The idea being is that they were safe from being attacked while on the ground due to distance. There goes that plan.
