4·7 days agoYes of course. But resizing partitions is a delicate operation at the best of times, and an unexpected shutdown in the middle of doing so with a dodgy sounding proprietary partitioning software is a lost cause.

1·11 days agoI would expect the biggest time sink to be the burning itself, because you generally want to burn optical media at the slowest possible speed for best results, and the biggest manual time sink to be putting in episode titles unless you want to get fancy with it.

1·11 days agoThe type of software that you use to put video files on a DVD-player compatible disc is called DVD authoring software, and IIRC it will generally default to a very basic menu. I haven’t done this in well over a decade, so I don’t even remember which software exactly I used.

0·18 days ago“Unbiased” is a silly word whose use shows a lack of understanding of systems of power.
Dr. Angela Collier and Dr. Fatima both make good videos about science and science communication.

0·1 month agoI don’t know what this strawberry music player is, but I approve of the fact that I can install it right from the fedora repos in one click but windows users have to build it from source from an unofficial repo on girhub. All programs should be distributed this way to make windows users suffer.
