I don’t disagree that for most people, this will result in significantly less anonymity on the web and overall is a very dangerous trend.

However, that doesn’t mean that there won’t still be some countries that do not have such laws and that don’t answer to US/EU regulatory attempts. That’s already how many quasi-illegal (or even straight up illegal) websites that operate in such countries (such as circumventing DMCA requests), and these laws are highly unlikely to entirely prevent those from continuing to find safe haven countries.

  • I generally agree but it really depends what work the vehicle is used for. In my line of work, regulations require us to have a fully separated cab from where the gear and load are kept so we’re basically forced to use pickups.

That being said, only on-call team leads bring the trucks home and we’re not allowed to use the trucks for personal use so they’re basically only at our shop/base or at a worksite.

  • You’re 100% correct. I always find it funny how hardcore some people are with jellyfin vs Plex. I’ll probably end up getting downvotes on this but imo Plex is way simpler to setup and keep running, and as a lifetime pass owner, I’ve very rarely felt like my experience has been deteriorated by any of the changes that the jellyfin crowd freaks out about. Plus plexamp is honestly such a great music player. I’ll happily keep running Plex for the foreseeable future.
