  • Well, not sure. What version of the Re:Zero light novel did you read? By the way, it is light novel, not visual novel; Visual novels are effectively video games. I assume you didn’t play Re:Zero.

    There is actually a Re:Zero visual novel, so if that’s what you meant, then I can’t comment, as I don’t play visual novels.

    But, generally speaking, light novels use relatively simple language. I did read the Re:Zero LNs though, and didn’t think they were bad at all! I only read up to volume 17. I’ve heard that the web novel version is much worse in a lot of respects, though. If that’s what you read, then maybe that’s why you disliked it. Not sure.

    I would definitely say that good light novels are expected to be good reads, even if they don’t use complex language.









  • “Good”… I don’t know about that. I think it’s beautiful no matter what angle, because you know that there’s an angle that makes it all make sense!

    This piece of art is beautiful because of the effect it successfully creates, even if it looks strange otherwise. My opinion.
