Just the annual purging of registered Democrat voters in Texas.

Seriously they do this every year, why are people surprised?

Also, it’s so removed from the system, that I have to register as a new voter. By mail.

Your question doesn’t really need a specific answer. It’s easy to create weird rules and enforce them badly. Exactly how is irrelevant, because justice was never the goal.

I mean, its pretty important to know the cause of and how to mitigate disenfranchisment, I get what you’re saying but little can be done without understanding how its being done

Fucking Kris Kobach, the attorney general in KS.

He has a program that checks if you haven’t voted in awhile, if your address doesn’t match, if you were registered somewhere else and didn’t tell them you moved (does anyone do this?).

And if you have a common name, you’re probably going to get removed from the registers every single time since it’s a very flawed system.

Many conservative states joined his program.

In most American states you can register under a political party in order to be eligible to participate in their primary. So therefore party affiliation is gathered data - not sure if it’s public (might vary by state) but they have that data.

That i cant speak to, but if youre registered for a party, AFAIK that is something they can look into
