Y’all are sleeping on professional wrestling.

Both WWE and AEW (and TNA!) have live wrestling every week. No two years between 10 episodes of a show.

WWE alone does a 2 and half hour show Monday and a 2 hour show Friday. Live.

Nobody does that anywhere else. Also: no gambling ads or sponsorships!

    In college, my friend used to have a whole day dedicated to when Wrestlemania and Nascar fell on the same day.

    We would start binge drinking at around 7am for left turns on Nascar, and were belligerently intoxicated for Wrestlemania.

    This includes being willing and able to be lifted up and put through an actual card table in half during Wrestlemania.

    Some of the most genuinely socially progressive people I met through this friend group.

    Aew has been cooking. I quit watching WWE because I don’t like where they’ve gone politically and the obscene amount of ads… but holy hell, the El grande Americano mask versus mask was one of the greatest wrestling matches of all time
