I think you might have Sarah Ferguson the Duchess of York confused with the singer from The Black-eyed Peas.

The only reason to know who Sarah Ferguson is was her marriage to the former human

  Fergie was a nickname for Sarah Ferguson, at least here in the US supermarket tabloids, a long time before the Black eyed Peas singer came along.
