        Edit: yes it’s not a saying in french but I love swapping idioms back and forth between languages.

        Always thought it’d be a fun multilingual pun to name a grocery store Fat Cherry.

          yea lol I get it it’s also a pastime of me and a friend, transliterating idioms like this. It was all started by his dad one day who explained something convoluted and finished with “…t’attrapes ma dérive ?” = you catch my drift ? We have been idiom-battling ever since, coming up with more and more absurd translations. I don’t get the fat cherry though, do you mind explaining ?
