    I wouldn’t think about any religion at all.

    Well, maybe I’d read some Norse mythology. I’m not very familiar with that and some of it sounds pretty interesting.

        If you think Loki is fun, you should try the Fenian Cycle of Irish/Gaelic mythology. You’d probably get a kick out of the kid raised by his aunt the druidess and her warrior-woman “Roommate” who goes on to fight a giant boar, become a genius by sucking his thumb while cooking salmon, and to become leader of the high king’s own mercenary company after discovering his divine heritage.

          I think kinda the appeal though is the god thing. like most greek/roman is about the heroes and not as much about the gods. The way loki goes from just trickster god that is actually kinda liked for being fun and taking one for the team to get valhalla built. He got sorta worse and worse but never crossed the line really till he ate the witches heart.
