It’s weird lately I keep seeing people pluralize RAM as RAMs. Is memory already plural in this context? Would we expand this as Random Access Memories? We don’t usually ask “how many memories does your computer have?”
Though it occurs to me we do this with ROMs, but in that context it is referring to ROM cartridges, or more likely files from rips. You wouldn’t say “I have 16k of ROMs on my BIOS.” Weird.
I agree (I don’t think there is any doubt at all about that, but ty for your politeness, it is appreciated) but I found it funny (only) lately, ‘my rammies’ (as in sticks of RAM, like individual objects), cute, precious. Over time a living language tends to have it’s way with acronyms anyway.

Rammies are ramekins from kitchens. You can’t have it!
