Go back to my home and start a government petition to legalise pedestrians carrying rocket-propelled grenade launchers to better handle situations like this

I’d probably think “God why did I have to come across so many cars and terrible drivers today. Damn I hate cars.”

    and then walk away.

Mild annoyance and then continue with my day. If I’m really annoyed report it to whoever issues the parking fines in the area.

My city has a sick app for reporting these sorts of things! Just snap a photo and it tags the location and uses OCR to get the license plate number.

We had a car (ours) on the street for a while in front of our house. Whatever glue they use on the enforcement notices that the police placed on it is unreal - very hard to get all of it off without using a blade.

Possibly committing felony vandalism for a parking violation. Does not seem reasonable.

What is up with the down votes? Lemmy is being very polarizing lately. Bots perhaps? It seems fishy

Neither does giving your money to buy a car that owns you and your data, supporting a sociopath psycho rapist.

And, you can’t fight something unreasonable with reason. You fight it with whatever uses the least energy, because douchebags are not worthwhile to fight fairly or morally.

I won’t be held to high moral standards while fighting another guy with no standards at all.

would be annoying for the tesla owner if whoever bumped into the car had no identifying features or clothes, so the car cameras can’t be used to identify the person

Continue, stoicly walking in my designated space. Car or no car. (I wish… in reality I’d probably just walk around the car)

It’s a tough one honestly, because you never know if its someone that’s generally a considerate person but had to park for an emergency… Or if it’s just a general asshole on a standard day.

Judging by the car make and model though (all black Tesla), I’d lean towards the latter.

I’ve got the street all to myself. Maybe I’d have a brief moment of reflection on how surprisingly quiet and peaceful city streets can be at times.

I’m not a European myself, but when I visit France this is too common to even remark upon to my wife. I don’t know why they don’t ticket them, or maybe they do and it’s not a concern?

Last time I was in Paris, I saw a bakery delivery van pull into an intersection, guy switched to reverse and rammed his way into the head car in a line of cars until there was enough room for him to get 3/4 his van into the street parking. The next three cars behind him were now touching.
