According to everyone in this thread, you’re a super ignorant American who can’t see the benefit of spending half your day on public transport in order to achieve something that would be a 20 minute car ride.
In my hometown people are attacked on the public bus constantly. It’s a new story all the time. Just someone today was trying to set the inside of the bus on fire and it’s in the news. Apparently, I’m a greedy American for not wanting to put my five-year-old child next to a homeless schizophrenic with a knife.
