It may be surprising to you, but one is capable of realizing westphalian nation states are relatively new and that capitalism is not the end all be all behind humans taking advantage of one another.

I’m pretty aware. Hunter gatherer societies are not really relevant to today. Exploitation of other humans has been the norm since the invention of agriculture.

I also think human beings are incredible. I wouldn’t say I’m jaded. We are the most amazing thing to ever exist, as far as we know.

Hate to break it to ya but human behaviour sucks under a pretty diverse umbrella of economic systems.
