Pedophiles

I’ve found that 90% of users probably wouldn’t have a difficult time using Linux as their new OS. The problems usually show up when needing to use terminal or when specific software companies don’t support Linux.
The average user that just browses the internet and uses basic office apps most likely wouldn’t have any issues.
Find an old PC lying around your home swap the drive out or create a separate partition, there are plenty of YouTube videos out there. Worst case you waste an afternoon.

I get that there are different Distros and that having options is great, but it’s a double edged sword. It also means that things get more complicated and some get more support than others.
If I commit to Linux then my whole house will switch to that Distro because I don’t have time to figure and support >4 PCs with similar but different OSs.
Autocad - for work
Photoshop - for work
Getting more software companies to support.
Make the terminal easier to use. I don’t use it often but when I do I waste an average of 15min just trying to find a guide or wiki. A help file or built in guide would be nice
Everyone that uses Linux, expects you to be a Linux expert
Steam is great but a native GOG app would be nice. Instead of Herolauncher
Anti cheat support from games
Hardware support. Just finding drivers for peripherals is sometimes more trouble than it’s worth
Generally make it more inviting to new users
More support for WINE and Proton

You mean directly effected. 1.4% of vehicles in the US are EVs, so if 98.6% are powered by fossil fuels then everything that has to be transported will become more expensive.
A tank of gasoline is the least of my concerns with spending money. It was less than $500 last paycheck for 2 weeks of food, which is much higher than it was last year. It was over $800 this paycheck.
Fuck Dump

That would be hilarious. Just start challenging anyone and everyone with a MAGAt sticker just before the election and lock them all down in pointless bureaucracy of proving their citizenship

Dealing with AI is like dealing with a highly motivated new employee that doesn’t understand the subject matter.

Time is money

It’s because this is a half ass attempt with very little preparation, planning, or goals. Seems more like Israel blackmailed Trump into doing this, I have no proof but it looks like Dump is very uncomfortable talking about Iran.

I haven’t experienced any bugs that I can recall, but I was disappointed with Death Stranding too.
I was so hyped up because I love the Metal Gear Solid games so when I heard that Kojima was creating a new IP and it was going to have a great cast of actors supporting it and it was based on a post apocalyptic world where ghosts are attacking people, I was vibrating with excitement.
Then I found out that it’s a walking simulator about delivering packages.
Ok, maybe it’s still good?
Well it’s all good and great in some ways and check off almost all of the boxes you would expect from a AAA game, except one. It’s just not fun or relaxing or challenging or interesting. I put it down halfway through and I can’t remember who/what/where/why, so now I have to start over or be lost.
It’s just so damn tedious and there’s no sense of satisfaction. Tedious is work and I get plenty of that at work.
I’m just pointing out the fact that it’s almost always used as a slur and context matters. Just because there are worse slurs out there doesn’t mean that cis isn’t being used as a slur.
What am I supposed to be getting over?
Nice gaslighting by the way. Seems a bit weird that pointing out a word is being used as a slur means that I’m not an ally.
I have to disagree. If it’s used as an slur, then it’s a slur and more often than not, it’s used as a slur.
Every time I’ve ever seen cis used it was always in a negative context and I’ve never seen it used in positive context. The only time I’ve seen it used was on reddit and this is first time I’ve seen it on the fediverse. But in my opinion that just proves my point, it’s not a widely accepted name to call someone.
Seems a lot like some people are trying to justify and normalize an insult. It’s about labeling people so they fit in a box and are marginalized, it’s also about feeling empowered to those that use it, so it’s a slur.
If it’s used as a slur then it’s a slur. Context matters

It’s important to everyone, but it’s not so important that we should ignore pedophiles having sex with kids.

Interesting because all of my first aid instructions say not to slap people on the back. Why should I believe this over instructors and doctors?

Pam is already up Dump’s dumper

The thing that’s driving me away from windows is how pushy it’s gotten. Forced updates, ads, AI, OneDrive, and subscriptions. I just want to be able to turn on MY computer and do what I want or need without having my guard up that I can’t trust my home PC with my privacy.
Windows 11 is ok, but is frustrating to use and I can’t trust it not to screw with settings and there seems to be something annoying added instead of something useful with every update. I also hate the Settings menu, it’s like an unhelpful layer between you and Control Panel the eventually will take you to the same place but took 5 more clicks and searching through drop downs for a link to what you needed.
Because there are random hands and faces all over the place, random cartoon characters and every frame had no connection with the next frame except the to foreground characters?
This thing is chaos.
