I’ve just straight up told an employer before that if a smart phone was required to do my job then they needed to provide me a company phone.

they found other options for me, but it really pissed off my supervisor. eventually i left because he was an asshole. gave them a -1 day notice and just stopped showing up. i do freelance work now. they deserved that hit.

qanon was the only “theory” involved. we KNEW about epstein by the time pizzagate started. he was arrested under Bush. the prosecution just took that long.

the conspiracy theories around this were all wrong and intentionsl misdirection about a real active case. they didn’t Crack anything. the whole thing was horse shit. the pedo ring was already public knowledge.

hence my drawer of converters having Whole partition just for vga converters. I’ve needed all of them at least once.

well as i understand it, concentration camps are defined as places you concentrate “undesirables” to get them out of society while you figure out what to do with them long term.

like, definitionally, we’re undeniably already there. the first nazi camps were supposed to be deportation camps too.

problem is no country will actually let you dump people on them like that. the only truly viable long term answer for this kind of plan is to kill them in the end. however, that’s distasteful, so they usual end up staying there until they all starve because at least then no one had to give the order to kill.

it’s cute and all, but the real reason they don’t stop is because the authorities aren’t enforcing that law effectively. the places where people stop crosswalks do so because they’ll get a ticket if they don’t.

this may raise awareness, but won’t change behavior in the long run.

when i lived more in the city and didn’t own a car i would make hard eye contact with drivers when crossing. my logic was that if they kill me I’ll at least haunt their dreams with that look.

Facebook has seen stagnation or user drops in most mature markets, it’s still growing in growing markets. India especially represents like half of all Facebook now.

no idea where you might be from, but this is not a globally universal issue. this will likely play out differently in different markets.
