I visited a country with functioning infrastructure and beautiful scenery for a week and returned to a new assignment at work which was absolutely dreadful and this hits home.
You guys get vacations?
Had two weeks off not long ago and was ready to burn the place down the Monday I had to go back.
I took this past week off to get my house renovated and get prepared for a move. Even with that kind of “vacation” I am not eager for tomorrow to come.
