Hard to have an opinion from this comment. Do they behave normally otherwise? If so I’d just think they’re eccentric and love to wear that. Live your best life
First thought would be that they have some sort of developmental disorder. Quickly following that thought would be the consideration that maybe they have a weird kink that they are deciding to share with this unsuspecting grocery store.
But if the person seemed happy, confident, intelligent, and attractive, and the outfit was clean, well put together, and excellently tailored, I would assume they are some kind of artist/fashion model making a statement. But still, it would be a transgressive statement.
I’m the wrong person to ask. I think it’s odd when anyone wears any uniform outside of actively working a job that requires it. That would include kids wearing school uniforms outside of school.
I think it’s weird how many people in the gym wear the same kind of clothes.
So is it odd? Yes
Is it common enough to not matter? Yes
Should you care what I think? NoYes.
But I also think it’s strange to wear them in schools.
edit: apparently I replied to the title of your other post “Is wearing a school uniform in public at 26 considered strange?”
Is this some kind of attempt at grooming? I don’t know anyone even while at school that would choose to wear school uniform other than while at school or going to/from school.
I guess it depends on the uniform. Plental of people wear college sports jerseys or other stuff displaying their Alma mater, but I guess thay isn’t strictly a “uniform”. If you’re wearing the designated, every day uniform if a high school or something as an adult well past the age, then I wonder what the motives for it are.
Sorry for not clarifying. I do mean a High School uniform.
Then yeah, that’s at least pretty weird. Is it like…HS logos on it, clearly a high school uniform? Or is it like…work casual clothes that just also happen to meet uniform requirements?
I would think that it’s weird for about half a second and then completely forget about it.
I’d never say anything about it to anyone, but I’d assume it was fetish-related.
It’s not something I’d form an opinion at all because I think fixating on other people’s behavior is unhealthy.
i worry about people who worry about what other people think of them while engaging in strange and unusual behavior.
because something is clearly up with them, they seem to want broad social acceptance by doing something that is broadly socially unacceptable… and don’t seem to understand how that’s inherently contradictory.
