This is the only shirt from either franchise that I own…I think part of it is also that a random stranger in a star wars shirt can be anyone. A random stranger in a star trek shirt is a nerd, and therefore more likely to be a cool dude.
Yes exactly, you can walk up to anyone in a Star Trek shirt and by simply saying the phrase “favorite captain?” you’ll probably have a new friend two hours later.
The star wars equivalent of this is dropping a tactical nuke with the question of modern or old lore and then asking for their favorite era.
I’m unaware of any star wars fan that would say new. Especially if you count episode 1 as new
