I’ve noticed that there seems to be an emphasis on being extremely serious at all times, as if every single comment is a PhD dissertation being evaluated or something. There’s like this weird, subtle one upmanship about every little thing and a lot of people are very nitpicky and judgmental. It kind of takes the fun out of being on here, TBH. Or am I the only one experiencing this?

    I upvote many of your comments, but you are in fact often cranky with people on here. This here is kind of a thin skinned comment you are making. No one has their fingers up your butt.

      cranky is entirely subjective evaluation. that says more about your own feelings, than mine.

      and you are welcome to interpret my words anyway you wish. and i’m welcome to think your interpretations are wrong.

      from where i stand the comment i was replying to was the thin skinned ’ i want to be offended’ variety, but perhaps due to politics you don’t see it that way. i am no ideological and i do not see any particular political ideology as ‘correct’ or ‘good’, which makes me inherently awful to those who think their ideology is the only valid one, regardless of what it even is.

      i mean i get it, people just other people to validate them and agree with them and the hate anything that isn’t that. but not all of us are wired that way or seeking that here. some of us understand people are different and that’s OK and subjectivity is normal.
