Woodworking: outer is pronounced outer
Computer: outer is pronounced ooter
Route
Direction: oute is pronounced oot
Rout
Complete loss in sport/battle: out is pronounced out
Are these all “owt” in the US?
The only one of those that is possibly “oot” is route as in directions, in standard American English
