Our findings demonstrated that, while indoor plants significantly increase relative humidity, they had a negligible effect on indoor air temperature and CO2 concentration in the offices we sampled. This suggests that while plants can enhance comfort in dry indoor environments, their role in regulating temperature and CO2 levels is limited.

The only maintenance required is changing of the activated-carbon filter every six months, and replacement of the HEPA filter every five years. In normal use, the carbon dioxide filter cassette has a lifetime of at least 15 years.
