hungover
But for the spelling, that’s a great meme.
Hungover is a word, and why are you harassing people about their spelling? Go back to reddit if you want to keep acting like linguistic purity enforcement.
Because it makes them feel special and smarter. Or, if they are legit insecure nutter, morally superior.
It’s an ego trip, that’s why. As it always is with folks who police other’s grammar and speech.
How does someone speak English well enough to feel comfortable criticizing spelling and not know the word “hungover”. It’s a quite common word
Idk, they seem to have a thing about invalid compound words which - sure whatever, we all have pet peeves, but damn with a community this heavy in Germans maybe learn to let that one go.
What spelling? Hungover means “experiencing a hangover”.

I always found this version funnier
Though it was going to be a detachable penis song reference. It was close.
The only time I ever blacked out, I woke up with no idea where my keys or phone were. My keys were behind my bed, but my phone took a couple days to show up, and had some fun selfies from the people who found it
Who the hell brings car keys to a bar?
My car keys and house keys are on the same keychain.
Get an extra house key so you don’t have to take your car key with you when you’re not driving
Why? So I have a second carabiner to grab depending on if I’m driving or not? Or I can take my carabiner (car keys, house keys, bike keys, pepper spray, and hair ties) every time I leave my home and never accidentally grab the wrong keys. It’s not a concern to bring the car key to the bar if the car is at home.
why would I drink if I’m not driving?
First of all, a lot of problem drinkers bring their car keys to bars and use them to get home. This is not a novel phenomenon, it’s been well documented for decades.
Second of all, plenty of people keep a key to their place on the same keyring as their car key, so even if they’re traveling to and from the bar responsibly they might have their car keys on their person.
Oh, sorry. I’m not from the US, so your first point is really foreign to me.
For the second point, some people gather all their keys together, but for most instances, keeping car keys and other keys separate reduces risk of loosing your most valuable keys, as most people I know, me included, either has a smart lock to their apartments or has a neat place for it around their home. Why risk losing a valuable key for a night of fun, so keep keys away from fun times.
Oh sorry, I forgot that the US is the only country on the planet that has both alcohol and motor vehicles. My bad.
And for your second point… Of sorry, I forgot that your personal anecdotal experiences supersedes the reality of other people’s habits. My bad.
I have never drunk drove, but I always had my car keys with me as my house keys were on the same ring. Bus route 761 for the win
I recently picked up a night shift job at a convenience store to pass the time. You’d be appalled by the amount of people that are buying shots in their way in to work
Yo, wtf is up with that. Can get mini bottles of liquor at the counter, next to the 5 hour energy drinks. Literally inviting drunk driving.
My favorite is the people who come up with a cup, an energy drink and ask for some shots. On their way in to work. You’re not slick.
it’s how they cope with their miserable life.
a lot of people are not full blown alcoholics, but alcohol dependents, as if they don’t get shit faced, but they need a drink to function in ordinary situations.
I have known people like this. They can’t interact without people without alcohol. So at work, at a party, or just getting a coffee… they have to drink. And most stealth way to do this is a nip they can drop in their coffee or whatever. Typically they are not drunk or visible intoxicated, but without drinking they feel anxious and miserable.
it’s called Alcohol Use Disorder, or if you go by the alcoholic stages, it’s stage 1-2 on that scale.
Oh I get it. But how alcohol is legally able to be served AT GAS stations, where there is a high probability you drove there, is the real head scratcher. It’s almost entrapment.
Can get shots at gas station, but can’t buy alcohol after midnight and not on Sundays at all in some states (7pm and not on sunday in SC). Fucking wild what is and isn’t allowed.
And then Louisiana stumbles into the party with its daiquiri drive-throughs and just leaves the rest of us confused.
Norway had a Christian party as part of parliament in the late 90’s and early 00’s, so that couldn’t happen here. Can’t buy alcohol up to 4,7% before 9 or after 20 at the grocery. Anything harder can only be bought from the state regulated monopoly from 10-18 on weekdays, 10-16 on Saturday’s.
I used to think this was the norm everywhere as I live in a very conservative state in Mexico, but I once was visiting monterrey and we were partying until like 4am and then went to a convenience store for more buzz at around 5am or so.
My mind was suddenly opened. And I didn’t even drink.
Also, if you want to have beer over the Easter weekend, you’d better stock up early. I found out the hard way that Norway takes Easter much more seriously than anyone else earlier this year. Wednesday night, I was thinking about stocking up at the Kiwi next to my hotel for food and drink for the rest of my stay, but thought, “Nah, I’ll go first thing in the morning.” And that’s how I learned the entire city of Oslo basically shuts down from the Thursday before Easter all the way through Sunday. I think there was a 4 hour window on Saturday to hit up Vinmonopolet and grab the rest of your food and beer from the larger shops, and otherwise you were at the mercy of restaurant prices.
Yeah, what you don’t get by Wednesday, you’d have to be quick on Saturday to get, or spend your entire budget in a bar.
US-Americans, cos their “beer” is just water basically lol
The 1960s called and want their generalization back. https://www.brewersfriend.com/2017/05/07/beer-styles-abv-chart-alcohol-by-volume-ranges-2017-update/
Why would I leave the car keys at home? It’s not like they’re heavy or anything
Being hungover is a product of being dehydrated, drink more water before and during your bender. Or better yet just smoke a joint instead.
But beer has water in it.
So…drink more beer. Got it, thanks!
To reduce hangover severity, experts recommend consuming water or non-alcoholic beverages intermittently while drinking alcohol. This practice not only helps maintain hydration but also promotes moderation by slowing the pace of alcohol consumption, thereby extending the time available for the body to metabolize alcohol.
Did you even read the link before posting it?
However, dehydration represents only one aspect of hangover
And

Did you?
It’s literally the first misconception on the page. But you do you bro.
You aren’t saying anything I didn’t say but you do you bro. It honestly seems like your argument is that I didn’t word my comment the way you would have…
Being hungover is a product of being dehydrated
Is the common misconception
However, dehydration represents only one aspect of hangover symptoms.
Is the counter argument to the common misconception
I thought that would be pretty clear
That’s not a misconception then it’s just pedantry.
Then you should take that up with Wikipedia
Also due to the products of alcohol metabolism, which cannot be avoided, even with proper hydration.
Car keys? Sus
deleted by creator
You can separate them or have a car key set and a set without car keys. No need to carry around stuff you don’t need
You can’t get anywhere without a car where I live - if you don’t own one , you’re calling a friend or an Uber. So why would I have a set without my car key? I need it 99.9% of the times I leave my house.

wallet
Found the boomer
bro im never adding credit cards or passports to google
Also where are you supposed to keep your ID, cash, health card, etc? Wallets are for more than just payment.
at home.
then when the bouncer asks for your ID you call them a boomer and throw a fit.
I’m beyond the age of going places that bouncers will ask for my ID, but I have on many occasions gotten away with showing a photo of my passport on my phone when I needed ID at e.g. the post office to collect a package
just hand your phone to the cops bro.
Fucking thank you, I feel like I’m the insane one when I see people doing all that NFC Tap to pay shit
I hate that most NFC payments don’t require on device confirmation, other than that they are actually quite secure, early credit cards, the swipe ones had 0 security
It’s only when you get in the bathroom to take a leak that you realize you don’t have your penis.
