Authorities in the metro and across Minnesota say they’re seeing an uptick in damage to license-reading cameras, especially Flock cameras.

I love the cops defense going on about how much they help. Like sure there are times they help, but at what cost? And why is there a cost to begin with!? Like come back to us when you strip the middleman out of it who profits off our data which is crazy that that even exists or allowed. Go with a company that does not have access to any data and the only way any of the existing data can be accessed is through proper procedure only and if active cameras have to be looked at then a judge needs to sign off on it first with a limited time of say 4 hours. These should never be monitored by random cops whenever they feel and outside companies should have zero access to anything outside support to fix and setup the devices.

If a medical professional can’t even look at medical data for a patient without proper authorization why is this treated any different? Do better and maybe we won’t be so angry, but until then stop trying to claim the ends justify the means.

Cops always try to push the narrative that things make their job easier.

But fuckers, your job SHOULDNT be easy. The power of arrest and fines is too dangerous for them to be able to weild it as easily as they do/want.

I love how all these non-political, non-activist communities are all slowly having to shift towards political activism. You did good, you orange bastard, you’re going to make sure that after the people are shown the mass graves and the size of the concentration camps, we’ll do everything to prevent it to happen again for at least another 80 something years.

I read a journalist’s report that they’re using battery powered reciprocating saws, with the correct blade, of course. Whenever possible, they’re paying in cash, wearing nondescript clothing, and never taking their phone along.

I’m sure glad we have great journalists telling us what we should be on the lookout for!

Wierdly ebough I came across a contractor who just so happened to be working with metal piping and was comparing how fast each tool was for the job site and the battery powered circular saw was significantly faster than a reciprocating saw 12seconds per work piece vs 50 seconds.

So glad there are people out there sharing knowledge for the betterment of the world and a more efficient job site.

Unironically, but you do need a lot of fresh contact surface. So, be sure to mar the surface first.

For those unaware, Aluminum-Gallium is a degenerate alloy that can spread deep beneath the surface of an aluminum structure. If exposed to an alloy of aluminum, it only attacks the aluminum. The resultant material is soft and brittle, you can break pieces off with your hands.

The problem with that is you don’t know how long it will take before it fails and it could fall on someone. With a good reciprocating saw, you could chop that pole in seconds and you could make sure nobody’s getting hurt in the process.

Sucks for who it falls on but it could be a good way to make flock look even worse putting up ‘unsafe’ poles… though I bet it’d be pretty trivial to switch to steel and we’ll be back to cutting them down.

There is a reason they sent ICE to Minnesota with the force they did.

Minnesota also has a quiet, yet prominent, anarchist population. Many people don’t even understand that their views are anarchist.

Even fewer understand that anarchy is the natural opposition to fascism.
