There are two types of Trump supporters.
Avoid them both.
I know its a joke, but dont avoid them. Talk to them and get into arguments. Its unpleasant for sure but you will get nowhere by dividing the population further and isolating the faschist cult even more than they already are. I believe a majority of them are just trapped in their bubble of propaganda.
I mean it’s horrible but the only way people change their mind is from social pressure.
I had a coworker that was very right wing and months of talking I got him to accept queer people can be filed under “live and let live”. That was a big improvement from where he started.
Arguing against people that are as resistant to change as these idiots could have the opposite effect and cause them to dig in. You really can’t win with these assholes
The problem with that is that I only know how to argue with facts and logic; two things Trump supporters do not understand in the slightest so talking to them also goes nowhere.
That’s just it though. They don’t exist in reality. They exist in their emotions. Give them something to hate and you’ll have them voting for you in no time
You do realize youre completely generalizing and claiming half the US population does not understand logic. Thats not even slightly better than Republicans blaming all immigrants for the crimes of a few. Just because you think you have the moral high ground you cant start dehumanizing people, its exactly what theyre doing.
