90% of it is just misandrist bait, and its just an echochamber of misandry.
Locking. Rule 1 - Sealioning!
I haven’t noticed a prevalence of that there. Checking it just now I can’t find a single example of misandry. Maybe you are just misreading the vibe.
Women are icky. Am I rite? 😎
Just remember that everyone on the internet is a robot trying to piss you off in order to siphon your vital essence
Same thing with male only spaces. They wouldn’t hang out there if they weren’t sexist.
Unless you’re in the intended audience for the community, you should probably block it, so that it’s kept out of your mind
I came to say I never see anything from it but its possiblie I blocked it. I block communities where I don’t really fit who is trying to hang out together. Basically I try to treat every community like its an in person club. If what it says on the sidebar would have me not going to it then I block it so im not peanut gallerying it to much. That being said I have not blocked like country specific ones because I kinda want to get the perspective but if I comment I try to put something to let them know im not from thier country or such.
This is an interesting take to me. I’ll preface by saying that I browse ‘All’, so my feed is almost wholly uncurated, and you guys might browse a lot differently than I do.
Still, why block a community just because it’s not designed specifically for you? It doesn’t hurt anyone to view their posts and womensstuff does have good content that provides perspective on their opinions and struggles. I feel like that’s good information no matter your gender.
That being said, I don’t usually post in those communities, but I don’t see the problem with it as long as it’s respectful and considerate.
oh its exactly because I browse all. Its just a form of curations. Again I treat it like an in person group. If a group was about women getting together to talk about womens things it kinda suggests its to do it without men. I would not be going to such a group so no reason to have it in my feed. The women in the community will likely mentions stuff from their group in other settings. Thats basically how it works in the real world. I may not go to the club but some girl I know may go or someone may know someone who does and anything interesting gets around. A lot depends on how the right side reads. If it sounds like its for a particular set of folks to get together and im not one of the particular set then I don’t want to intrude.
I checked out their feed since I figured I must have missed a big burst of bad content, but I don’t see anything misandrist. I see a few posts critical of certain men, but even that’s the minority of content.
Even going through comments I see only a healthy amount of misandry. I don’t see any organizing of violence against all men, or even normalizing of it.
If you’re feeling triggered by the things you see in a space meant for an oppressed class to vent then I think you’re just too sensitive.
healthy amount of misandry
??? Bro, damn
it is a class struggle, not a gendered one. I hope you guys realize that.

Just because the BBEG is class struggle, doesn’t mean the mini boss struggles aren’t also a problem.
A “healthy amount of misandry”? Misandry is hate towards men, what amount of hate is healthy?
Hey OP, just wanted to pop in to see how your attempt to garner support for your shitass take on an online space that isn’t meant for you was going.
looks around
Yup. Pretty much what I thought.
leaves
But do I tag this user as “troll” or “misogynist”?
yes
I went with

Yeah, this is even better.
why would you expect it to be any different?
most single gender spaces end up that way.
I’m not a woman and it’s none of my business what happens on womanstuff so I blocked it.
Speaking as a man: Stop white knighting my gender.
We don’t need your protection or worry.
Women making jokes on our expense does not hurt us.
What the fuck. Dude, don’t presume to speak for our gender, you’re doing the same lame bullshit that he does, you’re both losers. Move on.
You should smile more.
That is simply false by counter example alone
You should chime in on the ASK thread I posted earlier today, I’d be curious to hear your opinion.
If you don’t identify as a woman, it doesn’t matter whatever the fuck is going on in there because it clearly says it’s not about you.
Until they start brigading other communities I see no reason why men should even care, let alone actively engage.First let me start by saying that I don’t think this is the case for this community because the “examples” of misandry OP shared are clearly not misandryc, but:
If you don’t identify as a woman, it doesn’t matter whatever the fuck is going on in there because it clearly says it’s not about you.
That’s a problematic logic, imagine a community of white supremacists saying “If you’re not white it doesn’t matter what we do here, because it’s clearly not about you” and you’ll understand why.
Yeah but nah because one is a choice and one isn’t. As a white man I wouldn’t feel comfortable commenting my opinions on any other ethnicity’s problems either.
Seriously. I saw that it was a space for women, and since I’m not a woman I blocked the community so I don’t accidentally comment in a community where I’m not wanted. If the ladies need a space to vent, there’s nothing wrong with that.
