    That’s fine, but there are people don’t think about it until they get to the front, even inside.

    And for the record I think drive through should be abolished. They’re a waste of space.

        When I was working fast food, during rush they prioritized the drive-thru orders over the indoor customers. Drive time was tracked and needed minimized, people waiting inside were presumably expected to be more patient.

        It’s been a few decades, but I still see cars slide through a lot faster than our orders when we go in.

          Yeah, but only a couple cars can have orders placed at most, so your wait time is the sum of all cars in front of you.

          That’s changed now a bit, there are multi lines and they ask you to pull over and wait. But still.
