Yehhh maybe some small red droplet shapes on the face would be clearer than those “motion” indicators
Why the comically long hairs in panel 3?
That’s blood. But I had the same thought at first.
I read this a couple times now and am kindly asking: What is happening in the 3rd panel? 😅
They’re bleeding due to the dull, likely warped blade
And it’s not red, to indicate this, why?
Clearly these are long hairs!
So not red blood prob due to social media algo censorship, but wtf are those 3 random dots? I was trying to figure out if something fell off his face.
Blood drops
Anyone young enough is now part of generation rations.
Started shaving this year. Can’t believe how cheap a safety razor is compared to all those fancy ass mach3 razors. Good thing I did my research.
Double-edge razor blades are the only thing doing the shaving, the rest of the safety razor just securely holds it at the perfect angle and makes it comfortable. And since the blades are so dirt-cheap, I replace them immediately when they’re no longer perfect. And I’ve still probably saved enough over the years to afford a solid-gold handle (if I wanted it)…
DE gang rise up!
Yeah the savings are real.
Though early on I went through a phase of buying vintage Gillettes, and spent an amount of money on different soaps and brushes and such.
I spent WAY less than some others have, by a wide margin. That, I know for sure. But still, probably a bit over $200 in extraneous accoutrements over the first couple years.
Eventually I settled on a Feather Popular, gives a dang fine shave for like $20.
Then my buddy talked me into getting an AS-D2 at the same time he was getting one. Cost $150, which is crazy, but it’s solid stainless steel. The thing will outlive me a hundred times over. It’s my daily driver now, and I’ve settled into one soap, all in all I’m very frugal.
Don’t know how long it’ll take to recoup my costs lol. But it HAS been 10 years since I got my as-d2… That’s $15 a year.
I feel like compared to cartridge plebs, I’m still ahead of the game 😁
Run it backwards up your forearm, or backwards along some jeans, and hope for the best
:^]
I’ve been using the same blade for like 8 years.
Safety razor for the win, plus I’m lazy about shaving anyways. Clean and dry the blade immediately after each use and it’ll last damn near forever 👍
I usually change mine within a year but I let i air dry.
I might shave with the razor every 3 months or so, so of course mine lasts quite a while. May I suggest though, you should use rubbing alcohol and toilet paper or paper towel to clean and dry the blade after each use. It’ll last a lot longer without rusting.
it does not rust but when I am using it it is twice a week so I guess my one year is your 6 years.
I’ve got a box of feather blades that has been lasting for years. I also use a straight razor too, but they require much more skilled maintenance.
