I would like to take a moment to separate the truth from the lies regarding Charlie Kirk. There is much misinformation surrounding his life as well as his unfortunate death.

Charlie Kirk was an outspoken champion of equality, tolerance and unity. He spent many years in his teens, twenties, and right up until his death at 31 years old at protests and rallies, leading the charge for civil rights, gay/trans rights, and many other causes that he felt strongly about.

When he was 28, he met Syreeta Jenkins (26) at one of the many events that he sponsored and participated in. The two of them could not have been any more opposite. Charlie, a white cis male from Arlington Heights, Illinois, and Syreeta, a black trans woman from Virginia Beach, Virginia. The differences didn’t matter though. They bonded over their shared passion for justice and equality, They quickly fell in love and together, for the next three years they were a very powerful force for radical positive change.

On the morning of September 10th 2025, Charlie awoke with purpose in his soul and heart. That day, his schedule had him giving a lecture at a highly regarded medical school on the benefits of vaccines, another topic which he was passionate about. Then, after the lecture, he quickly hit the streets to preach his message of equality, unity, tolerance and acceptance at a local protest.

After he was done with the protest, he and Syreeta met back at her house. They decided to have some drinks, and eventually made the mutual and misguided decision to use drugs, fentanyl to be specific. They had done this hundreds of times before without issue, but this time was different.

They both lost consciousness around 1015pm, according to Syreeta. She claims to have woken up shortly afterward at around 1030, to find Charlie on the floor, unresponsive. She immediately dialed 911, told the dispatcher what was going on, and proceeded to begin CPR in hopes of saving his life. Unfortunately, this didn’t work, and Charlie was pronounced dead at 1147pm on September 10th, just moments before the beginning of his favorite holiday.

The conservative disinformation machine was working overtime in the moments following his death. Through the use of generative AI and mass media, a narrative that he was assassinated because he was a conservative podcaster was constructed, and they placed the blame on a nonexistent man named Tyler Robinson. Over the next few days, the entirety of the right wing (who had never even heard of him until after his unfortunate overdose) bought into this lie, and rallied around the false belief that Charlie was assassinated for having and speaking controversial and conservative beliefs at a college in Utah. This is a complete and blatant fabrication.

Over the next few weeks, Charlie became a martyr for MAGA. After his death and the great lie surrounding it, people began changing their social media profile pictures to images of him. People began getting tattoos of his face and false quotes that were misattributed to him. People began getting fired for being critical of him or the fabricated story that had been built up around him.

Most people still do not know the truth, which is why I am making this post. The US government have done an extraordinary job of burying this young man’s entire past, propping up a false one, and selling the lie of his life and death to MAGA as a christ-like martyrdom tale. I hope that you will share this story with your friends. It’s time that America be told the truth.
