I remember cruising Netscape navigator and using Alta Vista to search my queries.
Ohh yah, on a 14.4k modem. Images taking 30+ seconds to load. Search result pages coming in as a max of one or two pages…all before the google showed up. Life was exciting and you felt like a trail blazer lol. Netscape 3.0 sticks out in my head…the original was installed via floppy and you bought software at a store that came in boxes like it was cereal lol Thanks for the trip down memory lane…
The only thing I miss from those days is being able to react to redirects or malicious downloads. I’m sure having the old 14.4 saved the family computer a few dozen times.

Every troll face has its own style, personality and uniquety in its intentional shittiness. Wojaks all look the same (some variation of a bald guy with glasses) and lack that personality. Despite the intentional shittiness, they still have too much effort put into them compared to the troll faces, making them feel less authentic. Wojaks just fail to capture that magic.
