Looks like gag-reflex girlfriend. Hang on, let me look for something with her in it…

Edit: found it. They look similar. Can’t post it here, the only source I found was a Facebook reel and I don’t want to get downvoted to shit for posting FB stuff.

Why do men date women that’s like height of a children to them?

EDIT: I know reddit banned Jailbait, but can you people move to 4chan and not Lemmy? Fuck anyone who prefers Lolitas, Jailbait, underage looking, petite, child-height or midget if you’re normal height, etc., it’s fucking creepy and you know it. You also know I’m not talking about simply “shorter”, but those cases where it really starts to look off

EDIT2 Why do you people keep talking about men dating shorter women? I’m talking about extreme differences not common ones - whole another level, my GF is 20cm shorter too, that is perfectly normal. Why is it so hard for many to understand what “children-height to them” means?

First of all, “midget” is a slur that shouldn’t be used to describe people with dwarfism and second of all, are you saying that it’s creepy for grown adults to be in a relationship just because one of them has a genetic mutation or happens to be really short? Are little people only supposed to date other little people or is there some magic number where you just become creepy?

… Women generally, statistically, indicate an ideal preference to date men who are ~21cm / ~8 inches taller than themself.

      https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0191886913000020

Women prefer, on average, a larger height difference between themselves and their partner (i.e. males being much taller than themselves) than men do. This effect is even more pronounced when examining satisfaction with actual partner height: women are most satisfied when their partner was 21 cm taller, whereas men are most satisfied when they were 8 cm taller than their partner.

So a roughly average height 5’4" (~1.62m) woman, on average, would ideally pick a 6’ (~1.83m) tall man, all else held equal.

By the same kinds of math, on average, men prefer to be ~8cm / ~3 inches taller than their ideal height female partner.

So a roughly average height man of 5’10" (~1.78m) would ideally prefer their gal to be 5’7" (~1.70m)

So I don’t know, you tell me why generally speaking, women ideally prefer their men to be ~8 inches taller than themself, but men ideally prefer being only ~3 inches taller than their women.

My point is you got the causation backwards.

Women generally have a stronger preference for taller men, than men have a preference for shorter women.

But you framed the entire scenario as being caused by men.

Why do men date women that’s like height of a children to them?

Its… also amazing that you yourself date someone 20cm shorter than you.

So, what, if you yourself were 5cm shorter than you are, and your partner was 5cm shorter than she is… would that be such a difference that the woman would now be ‘child sized’?

Short people do just exist, the image is an intentional joke making fun of height difference that is present in this consensual relationship.

You describe this as jailbait despite the woman looking like she’s in her upper 20s or lower 30s in age.

Like, not to be rude to the woman in the picture, but how many under 21 or under 18 girls… have forehead wrinkles, bags under their eyes?

I’ll admit, jailbait by definition does not fit in, so it was incorrect of me to use that word, but I’ll stand by the idea that it does feel weird to me in a way that resembles liking young girls.

Answer me this - is it perfectly fine/morally right of me to watch a porn of tall dude doing it with a very short one? NSFW, but here is a mild porn example, I’ve personally seen more extreme ones; NSFW OPEN AT YOUR OWN RISK

Personally, watching this makes me slightly uncomfortable. No one else, really?

Thank you for seeing and saying that.

but I’ll stand by the idea that it does feel weird to me in a way that resembles liking young girls.

I mean… very broadly, yes, sure, I get that, but I feel like you have to ignore the details and context.

But I will also grant that the non actual OP image, that is of higher quality, makes it more clear that the woman is likely not a child or very young adult, than the blurrier OP image does.

Answer me this - is it perfectly fine/morally right of me to watch a porn of tall dude doing it with a very short one?

Well frankly that’s a complicated question, mostly because: What exactly do you mean by ‘very short one?’

Apologies if I am wrong but it seems like English may not be your first language, and that that might be the cause of a lot of the kerfuffle here.

If you mean an actual dwarf, someone with dwarfism, well then that, to me, becomes a discussion of basically… is it more the case that such a person basically has few other valid employment options by way of discrimination, or is it more the case that… they’re fully consenting adults, making their own choices, which they understand or are in control of?

If you mean a person who is not a dwarf, but is simply fairly short… I basically still have the same kind of answer, I guess, just with there likely being a good deal less discrimination against someone who is simply short, but not a dwarf?

Personally, as a matter of personal preference, I would not be interested in porn with dwarves, and yeah I probably would be weirded out a bit between an extreme height mismatch with non dwarves…

But ‘being weirded out’ and ‘morally endorsing or condoning something’ are not the same thing to me.

Lots of people do and enjoy things that I do not, that I find weird, but … I don’t think they’re de facto morally bad just because I find it weird.

Because I know that that all works in reverse as well: I’m into things many other people find weird or strange, but like, I’m not harming anyone.

Frankly, I just don’t like to watch any kind of porn where anyone is getting just utterly physically dominated by another person.

I don’t like porn where a guy will like, insult or or degrade or very physically forcefully slap any part of a woman, or that is styled as if its the gals boss or something… that turns me off.

But, some people are into both or either of those things.

Sorry if this is kind of a non answer, but I guess the short (lol) version would be:

Such things generally yes do make me some amount of uncomfortable, but me being uncomfortable is not the same thing as something being morally condemnable.

              Are these things moral?

Basically, thats a pretty complicated question to me, and I’m honestly not totally sure how I feel about that.

EDIT: Also I did not watch that video, I’m making breakfast at the moment lol.

I have a somewhat wild and likely unprovable theory (let’s see how many downvotes this comment gets) that more than half (60-70%?) of men who like the “very short ones” are also into dwarfism, but don’t quote me on that.

You have any clue how many women are 6 feet tall? Less than 1%, you are effectively saying tall men should be banned from heterosexual relationships that’s why you are getting yelled at and down voted, I’m 6’2" and most women look like children next to me height wise

Love is blind. Don’t wedge yourslef inbetween folk who are happily together and are living normal lives. I know a guy that is more than a head taller than his partner, and they are happily together. Heck, it’s she that is more dominant in their partnership xD

Is such height diff a reason to pay more attention? Maybe. But outright assuming something is wrong just because you’ve got a gut feeling is foul.

Right, because “height of a children” means children. I quite clearly meant it in relativity.

Do you know what relativity means? You keep saying it

          A 6 or 7 year old child is ~120cm

          Average person 160cm to 170cm

          Relatively, a 3:4 ratio

For a tall person at 200cm (6’6") that would be the same as 150cm

          Average woman is 160cm

Yes a 200cm person standing next to a 150cm person looks like an adult standing next to a child height wise. Yet to them a 150cm person is much taller than 120cm. 1 foot difference.

Why does your mind jump to “they look like they are with a child?”

Also to the tall person that isn’t the ratio of height of a child. They’ve most likely been that height since they were a teenager and think of the height of a child as the height that children are. Sure it may be waist height instead of chest height, but that’s how tall kids are to them. It’s not like you’re 25 and have been dating around for a while and suddenly grew 6 inches and are uncomfortable because women in your dating pool are suddenly a proportional height you associate with children.

This is also amusing to me as a tall woman who prefers older women and keeps getting short ones.

Translation for this person because they’ve rightfully been misunderstood: Why does it seem like there is a disproportionate amount of tall men ending up in relationships with short women? This seems to be a statistical aberration when compared against other factors.

The answer is societal expectations of tall men/short women, kinks, standard height deviations among genders.

The dick looks bigger next to a smaller person and you feel more powerful being able to move such a small person around so easily in bed. Gay men have bears and twinks. This isnt just a heterosexual thing. I would know.

You can have stupid feelings, especially once they concern how you treat others. There’s a big difference between “idk why, but I really like cherry flavored ice cream” and “idk why, but these people make me feel uncomfortable”, because the latter opens you up to treating others with prejudice.

It’s your job to wrestle with them and make sure your feelings are justified, or to change your mind.

I doubt a large percentage of men are having problems finding a woman that’s not such a drastic height difference. I never said shorter, I’m talking about the difference being so big it starts to seriously look off. That’s also not very common, quite rare actually, but you know the few men I’m talking about.

I’ve gone on this tirade plenty of times, but inches aren’t stupid. 12 inches to a foot makes a lot of sense for problems we’ve had to solve for millennia, because it’s 3 times a power of two. For things like woodoworking it actually makes more sense than the metric system.

“But 10 deciliters in a liter” Using a tape measure, mark out 1/3rd of the thickness of a standard 19mm sheet of plywood. I’ll be over here doing the same with 3/4" plywood by marking at 1/4".

I honestly wish we used metric in the US.

What always cracks me up, are people not from the US who whine about our units, and demand that they be translated into their comfort units, which doesn’t make them look smart, it makes them look like they can’t do math as well as a teenager in the US.

I use metric all the time in the US. My 3D printer runs in millimeters and Celsius, I buy Pepsi by the liter, I dose every medicine by the gram, I meter electricity by the kilowatt and my lights are rated in lumens.

What I don’t do is this weird sense of superiority found in cultivated ignorance the Europeans seem so fond of on the subject.

She was as tall as a 7 year old Norwegian pine sapling exposed to ideal soil and water conditions and he was as tall as a female giraffe’s asshole.

He’s very tall and she’s pretty short, both with regards to average for their gender.

      Tap for spoiler

      6’5" is about 1.95m 5’2" is about 1.52m

You know, I have always used feet to measure height, but somehow seeing the difference in meters is significantly more eye opening as to just how insanely different those heights are.

Edit: Although I think you might have meant 1.57 for 5’2" 😅

Maybe if you used the metric system you wouldn’t be in an argument in the first place, avoiding this whole situation.
